# Profile Monetization

Eligible Linkary profile owners can monetize public-profile header inventory through sponsored banner auctions.

The owner configures monetization and a payout destination. The relevant seller payout destination is snapshotted for an auction so a later wallet change cannot silently redirect an existing auction.

## Rental periods

Current owner controls support 24 hours, 3 days and 7 days.

Auction duration and live-banner rental duration are separate. The auction determines who wins; the rental period determines how long an approved, settled banner remains live.
